About
I am Roman Gaintdinov, a researcher based in Manila. This site analyzes how digital and hardware innovation diffuses into Southeast Asia: which technologies arrive, who brings them, what gets built and how fast it spreads across the region's markets.
The areas covered: data centers and cloud, AI compute and chips, subsea cables and connectivity, robotics and industrial automation (Industry 4.0), VR/AR and spatial computing, fintech and digital payments, govtech and digital policy, startups and venture capital.
Everything here is built from public sources, and every table shows where each number came from. Where sources disagree, the disagreement stays visible. The first study, the Philippine Data Center Map 2026, is published; the events calendar lists where the region meets. Write to roman@gaintdinov.com for the underlying data, speaking or to compare notes.
